Theatre in English: Madness Sweet Madness

Here you have another play in English… We love that you practise English outside the class so here you have a great way to do it!

Madness Sweet Madness

Is a 60-minute play by Georgina Tremayne.
It won the new writing award and was premiered at the 24:7 Theatre Festival in Manchester in July. It then transferred to Liverpool as part of the Shiny New Festival.
The play is about the impact on a family when “Charlie” goes missing – and what happens when two strangers show up with an unprecedented type of help.
[genre? Hmm…A real/surreal drama with a solid dose of humour]

Tickets

Are 10 euros if you buy online by Sunday 8 Nov (inc. ticketing fee)

(ticketing fee added after Sunday 8 Nov)
madnessBCN.eventbrite.com – Barcelona Tickets Friday 20 Nov

Theatre in English
This is the first time I’ve directed a full-length play from scratch. The great news (for me, and you) is that the actors are excellent and are bringing their characters to life in ways that I could only have dreamed of when I wrote them. It’s a joy to see this so full of life and depth. Some parts of the play are emotional and others are just outright funny – a balance that only works when the cast is perfectly in-tune with their characters. And that’s what we have!

If you can’t make the show, it would be fab if you can please tell your friends about the show!
We’ll also be in Sitges on Saturday 21 Nov if you know anyone there that enjoys theatre.

Take a look at  www.tremaynetheatre.com and check out the links to the 2 charities we’re supporting with this show (AADAS as usual, and 2 children).

We’ll also be adding rehearsal pictures to the site over the next couple of weeks, so please keep checking back!
