Dance your way into the office!

Monday blues? Not a morning person in general? Have you tried tea, coffee and even the gym to give you the boost you need to start the week? Some people in London thought that a different way to start the working day was possible. The result was Morning Glory, an experiment to challenge “morning culture” that they define as an “immersive morning dance experience”. It is basically a daytime rave that takes place in renovated Victorian warehouse in the up-and-coming Shoreditch area in London. Their concept is clear: Humans have always danced, so free, improvised dancing is one of the best ways to wake your body and mind up and feel happy and invigorated for the rest of the day. For some extra energy they also offer coffee, superfood smoothies and free wake up massages.


  • Monday blues (n): the feeling of sadness you get when the weekend is over and you have to get back to work.
  • To be a morning person (v):to be the kind of person that has more energy and is more productive in the mornings rather than any other time of the day.
  • Boost (n): encouragement, improvement, or help.
  • Up-and-coming (adj): becoming more successful, important, and well known.
